About Us

Riverside Church is a group of people who have come into a relationship with God through putting our trust in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. We have experienced something of God's love and power, and want to share it with others. Our mission is simply “ to enjoy and share God's love”.

We believe that God loves us so much that he gave his son (Jesus) to die for us. He has forgiven us all that we have done wrong and he accepts us unconditionally. He calls us his children and he is our heavenly Father. And he has given us his Holy Spirit who empowers us to live in a way that is pleasing to him and fulfilling for us.

We aim to be a family to one another, and when we get together we like to praise God for what he has done for us and celebrate his love. We praise and worship God using mainly contemporary Christian music, and we aim to become more like Jesus Christ and to spread God's love to others.

We meet as a whole congregation at 10:30 am on Sundays at our building (The Exchange in Hamilton Road) and in smaller groups at other times throughout the week.
