Alpha course - expression of interest
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly setting over ten thought-provoking sessions. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know other participants. This is followed by a DVD-based talk looking at a different topic each week - topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why did he die?'
After each talk, participants discuss the issues raised in the talk. No question is considered to be out of bounds, and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of Christianity. Everyone is welcome and the course is free of charge. Over 2 million people in the UK, and 14 million worldwide, have already attended an Alpha course.
