Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Please note: during coronavirus restrictions arrangements are different. Please see this page for information.

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at the church building. The address is:

Riverside Church
The Exchange
Hamilton Road

You can see a map on our home page

There is limited parking available on the site.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 30 mins of worship (singing songs) with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the Bible. After the notices and offering (please feel free to give, or not as you wish) there will be inspirational teaching from one of the leaders at the Church with a chance to respond at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits and sometimes cake(!) are served after the meeting where there is plenty of time to socialise and ask more questions.

What happens to the kids at church?

Towards the end of the time of worship, children of primary school age will be invited to join in with their own Sunday Club activities by one of our Children's team. This takes place upstairs in the Sunday Club room.

For more information about what happens with the children's work please visit the Children's Ministry page.

Is there a crèche?

Yes - toys are provided in the coffee lounge during the service. Please see more information on the Crèche page.

Are there facilities for the disabled?

Yes - there is parking outside the main door of the church; we have a disabled toilet on the ground floor; there is a lift to the first floor; we have a hearing loop.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!

You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
